The Actress Who Plays Ahsoka Tano Shared Some Amazing Star Wars Artwork.
Ashley Eckstein, playing Ahsoka Tano shared some beautiful Star Wars artwork featuring Ahsoka and her companion, the convor Morai, from Star Wars: The Clone Wars.
Ahsoka has turned out to be one of the best characters in Star Wars since her debut.
She was Anakin Skywalker’s Padawan and one of the few who survived Order 66, carrying on the Jedi legacy.
Recently, she also starred in her own show, Ahsoka, where she embraced her Jedi role and wore the 'Ahsoka the White' outfit.
The art perfectly highlights her character and importance in the Star Wars universe.
Ashley Eckstein, the voice behind Ahsoka in The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels, and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, posted the artwork on her Instagram account, ashleyeckstein.
The piece, created by Lucasfilm artist battu_mando_art, shows Ahsoka tumbling down while Morai watches from above.
Along with the artwork, Ashley Eckstein shared an important message about mental health.
She said, "We need to treat our mind just like any other organ in our body," and provided links to resources for those who need help.
What Do Ahsoka and Morai Symbolize in Star Wars?
The artwork of Ahsoka and Morai carries Eckstein's message.
Morai was introduced during the Mortis Gods story arc in The Clone Wars. It was where Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Ahsoka crash-landed on the planet Mortis and met three gods. Those were - the Father, the Son, and the Daughter.
These characters represented balance in the Force, the dark side, and the light side.
Sadly, during this arc, the Son killed both Ahsoka and the Daughter.
Ahsoka only survived because the Daughter sacrificed herself for her.
After that, Morai began watching over Ahsoka, and Ahsoka even said she owed her life to Morai.
The scenario raised questions about whether Morai is somehow connected to the Daughter, though it’s unclear how Ahsoka would know that since they lost their memories when they left Mortis.
Regardless of Ahsoka’s memory, the symbolism remains strong.
After she experienced a near-death scenario on Mortis, Ahsoka and Morai together represent rebirth, perseverance, and hope—messages that are very fitting for Eckstein's post about mental health.
Ahsoka Is The Only Character To Represent This Message.
Even outside the Morai/Mortis story, Ahsoka Tano is a great example of Ashley Eckstein's message of hope, and it's not just because Eckstein voices her.
Ahsoka has gone through a lot of tough situations but has never turned to darkness.
Before Order 66, she even faced serious challenges.
Like she was being falsely accused of murder, being rejected by the Jedi, and facing wrongful execution.
She even had to leave her home and cut ties with Anakin, who was like a brother to her.
Ahsoka was still a teenager during the incident, but her strength and resilience stand out.
The artwork of Ahsoka that Ashley Eckstein shared on Instagram perfectly represents the hope that Ahsoka symbolizes in Star Wars.
