Lucasfilm’s Job Listing Revealed: New Star Wars Animated Show In Working
According to Lucasfilm's recent job listing, the studio is developing the next Star Wars animated television series to focus on new characters or events in the Franchise's lore.
After exploring the Republic's fall and the Empire's early days through the eyes of the Clones for three seasons in Star Wars: The Batch Bad that ended in May, Lucasfilm is now looking to expand the horizons of Saga through a new animated series.
Lucasfilm Animation is recruiting a Shot Production coordinator to assist with the animation style of the next series. The Saga animation may move forward in a different story direction, introducing characters from different times in the galaxy's history other than Clone Force 99.
The Future Of Star Wars Animation
Truth be told, Star Wars can go in any number of directions. The new animated show is anticipated to be less similar to the previous ones and may explore the far ends of the Saga canon.
The other Space Opera animated series is available on the Disney+ platform.
Presently, the Saga fandom is enjoying ‘The Acolyte.’ With the new animated show in the pipeline, the future of animation and all different Star Wars projects looks pretty bright.
May the Force be with you!
