Star Wars: Battle of Jakku to Bridge the Original & Sequel Trilogies
Marvel will release the final editions of the Star Wars and Darth Vader comics this September. However, the entertainment giant isn’t in the mood to leave fans with heartbreak as it has already announced the release of a new canon comic book maxi-series ‘Star Wars: The Battle of Jakku—Insurgency’ in October.
Apart from staying connected with the force, the upcoming maxi-series has one more reason to keep fans on their toes—its connection with the Original and sequel Trilogies of the Star Wars universe.
The Battle of Jakku collection will address events around the Galactic Civil War.
The Battle of Jakku was the last major battle in the Star Wars series. It was a big battle where the New Republic defeated the broken Empire for good. This victory marked the official end of the Empire’s rule and the start of a new era for the galaxy under the New Republic.
The first edition of Star Wars: The Battle of Jakku - Insurgency Rising will be released on October 2, 2024. It is said to be focused on important Star Wars characters, like Luke Skywalker, Princess Leia, and Han Solo.
