A Jedi Master From Star Wars: Acolyte Leads a Prequel
Major Spoiler Alert!
Although the Star Wars: The Acolyte series on Disney+ was canceled, some of its characters will still be there in Marvel's comic books.
The most exciting part of the series was introducing Kelnacca, the Wookiee Jedi Master, in live-action.
Tomorrow, Kelnacca will star in his own special prequel comic with a title Star Wars: The Acolyte (Kelnacca #1).
The comic is short, and it will explore the Jedi Master's past while providing fans a closer look at the High Republic era, with plenty of exciting action promised.

The comic, written by Cavan Scott, is illustrated by Marika Cresta.
It entirely focuses on the Wookiee Jedi Master, Kelnacca, which will highlight more about his mysterious character. However, it wasn’t fully explained in the Disney+ series.
In an interview, the writer also mentioned that the comic will thoroughly explain the meaning behind the tattoos on Kelnacca’s head.
The story will also carefully follow a Jedi Padawan dealing with the recent loss of their master.
The comic will show how Kelnacca and the Padawan met, providing insights regarding Kelnacca’s life before his role in The Acolyte series.
In the TV show, Kelnacca was living his life alone on the planet Khofar.
Later, it was eventually killed by the Sith acolyte Mae's master, known as the Stranger.
The comic is more about the events of the TV series and connects with books like Star Wars: The Acolyte: Wayseeker by Justina Ireland and an upcoming YA book by Tessa Gratton.
