Disney Announces Release Date for an Untitled Star Wars Movie

Disney’s 2027 movie list includes many Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar, and Disney Animation projects.

Good news for Star Wars fans! A new movie is coming out soon. 

Recently, Disney announced the release dates of its newly dated 11 projects, and one of them is an Untitled Star Wars movie. The film is slated to release on Dec. 17, 2027. 

Since the release of Rise of Skywalker in 2019, many potential Star Wars projects have been delayed or canceled. Many believe it was due to the mixed responses to the Daisy Ridley-starrer film. 

Although many Disney Star Wars TV shows were released after the 2019 movie - including Mandalorian, Andor,  Obi-Wan Kenobi, The Book of Boba Fett, The Acolyte, and Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. 

Before the Untitled Star Wars Movie in 2027, The Mandalorian & Grogu will hit the theatres in May 2026.
