Mark Hamill Under A Massive Troll After His Insensitive Comment On Trump’s Shooting
Mark Hamill has recently drawn a massive backlash from many of his fans online after he made an insensitive statement regarding Trump’s right ear bandage. The statement was intended to take a jab at Donald Trump’s shooting.
Earlier this month, a shooter attempted to assassinate Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee, when he was speaking at his rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
When the firing occurred, the former president was captured on camera touching his right ear in an attempt to reassure him with security agents surrounding him. The gunman, now recognized by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) as Thomas Matthew Crooks, aged 20, of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, was gunned down by the Secret Service.
On Monday night, after the shooting, Trump came to the Republican National Convention wearing a large bandage on his right ear, and Mark Hamill took the X and mocked him. The post has 24 million views and thousands of comments, many of which bashed Hamill, had been posted.
The Backlash Continues To Grow
The tweet was:
1st APPEARANCE of ludicrously oversized ear bandage, apparently not needed before tonight. 👂🤣 pic.twitter.com/Fkc83h3jBN

These backlashes included not only Trump’s supporters but also Hamill’s fans themselves.
One wrote - "You would've s*** yourself and cried in the fetal position, needing Secret Service to carry you out and coddle you with a milk bottle. You wouldn't know about oversized anything, as the mushroom and marbles in your pants are your only reference."
The former president spoke at the Republican National Convention on Monday; he was welcomed with loud cheers and applause from the audience inside as this was Trump’s first time to venture out in public after a gunman attempted to assassinate him.
