Season 1 Of The Acolyte Is A Mess - Know What The Future Holds
The Acolyte concluded last week; frankly, it was no surprise that it disappointed both the fans and critics.
Current Rating Of The Show
- IMDb: 3.9/10 (Based on 103K ratings).
- Rotten Tomatoes: Critics Review of 80% & Audience Score of only 17%.
- Metacritic Score: 67 / 100 (Based on 32 critics), indicating "generally favorable" reviews.
From the start to the end, The Acolyte was a disaster, and Tuesday night’s disorganized season finale makes it even more apparent that this show was not even close to other Star Wars Disney+ shows like The Mandalorian, Andor, etc.
Even the two entertaining guest appearances in the finale cannot transform this below-quality standard show into something better. Although the show was a hit considering the streaming numbers, but as far as craft and content go, it didn’t even touch the average standards.
What’s The Future Of The Galaxy
The lineup for future Star Wars projects looks excellent. Here is the list:
Series
- Andor Season 2 (expected 2025): Diego Luna returns as Cassian Andor in this prequel to Rogue One.
- The Mandalorian Season 4 (TBA): Din Djarin and Grogu continue their adventures.
- Ahsoka Season 2 (TBA): Ahsoka Tano's story unfolds further in this sequel to The Mandalorian.
Movies
- The Mandalorian & Grogu (2026): This unique combines everyone's favorite Mandalorian and Force-wielding child on a big-screen adventure.
- Dave Filoni's Mando-Verse Movie (TBA): A live-action movie weaving together characters from The Mandalorian, Ahsoka, and The Book of Boba Fett.
Let’s hope these projects don’t become disappointments and the legacy of Star Wars lives on.
May the Force be with you!
