‘Star Wars: Skeleton Crew’ is ‘Goonies’ of 2024! The Trailer Says So

The Disney+ series releases on December 3.

Star Wars recently released the official trailer of its upcoming series Skeleton Crew, and fans have already started relating it to the classic 80s children's film ‘Goonies’.

The trailer, which premiered at Disney’s D23 expo on August 9, features a group of kids on a space adventure. Their everyday lives dramatically turn when they come across the hidden Jedi temple.

During their voyage, they come across a Jedi, played by Jude Law.

Since the trailer release, fans have been comparing it to ‘Goonies’, an adventure comedy film released in 1985. 

What is Goonies About?

A group of kids, the Goonies, find a map that takes them on a journey to look for a long-lost treasure. They believe the treasure is their only hope to protect their homes. 

Skeleton Crew has a similar storyline, which makes people compare it to the classic film.
