Star Wars: The Old Republic - What To Expect In The Closing Months Of 2024?
In a letter to fans, executive producer Keith Kanneg shared what players can expect from "STAR WARS: The Old Republic" in the third quarter of 2024 and beyond, including updates 7.5.1 and 7.6.
Update 7.5.1 was released on August 20 and introduced Galactic Seasons 7, titled "The Greatest Bounty." Here’s what players can look forward to:
- A bounty hunter-themed event called Bounty Contracts will run throughout Galactic Seasons 7, featuring the return of bosses from 16 Dark vs. Light world.
- Two new repeatable weekly missions with Sith Warrior companion Vette and Republic Trooper companion Aric Jorgan.
- New outfits available in the Cartel Market, including the Deadly Outcast, which features armor and weapons inspired by other Star Wars content and created in collaboration with Lucasfilm Games.
- Rewards for participating in Twitch streams.
- A new bundle called Master the Fight: Firebolt Edition which includes various items for purchase.
Additionally, there were bug fixes in September, and Keith ended the letter by announcing a new Mac launcher for the game.
