The Acolyte’s Qimir Is Entry Point For Star Wars Adult Drama
The evil within this universe has never sinned, as the Star Wars latest series, “The Acolyte,” has presented.
The latest aired episode features a character ‘Qimir’ played by Manny Jacinto, who is seen as a Sith lord master. In a rather violent series of scenes, Qimir slaughters several Jedi by stabbing one of them in the chest multiple times and then follows by snapping the neck of another Jedi.
What has been just as shocking have been people’s responses to Jacinto presenting the Stranger, or conversely, the sexual appeal of his Sith master alter ego.
Musical Motifs As Tribute To The Dark Side
The theme played in the background when Qimir appears on the screen is the same as that of Kylo Ren.

Star Wars has had shirtless dark-side users, be it Anakin Skywalker or Kylo Ren, but The Acolyte took it much further. It uses music as a motif to explore the themes of the human condition.
The Acolyte episode 6 was based on dark side users that had been portrayed before, but the Stranger took it a step further.
Its uniqueness comes from the point that the perspective and the gaze are of a female towards the character. Qimir’s shirtless scene was not only a sensual scene but a clear link to the ongoing story of ‘The Acolyte.’
