Disney has released the date for ‘The Mandalorian & Grogu’ premiere. 

The Star Wars saga has blown up the box office for almost a half-century and raised the bar to new heights. Since its first movie's release in 1977, Star Wars has been loved by people all across the world. The saga's ideas and concepts gave fans a new genre in which to immerse themselves. 

After almost five years of waiting, Disney and Lucasfilm confirmed the date to release ‘The Mandalorian & Grogu’: May 22, 2026. 

However, it’s still unclear whether the upcoming movie will replace the story of Season 4 of Disney+ ‘The Mandalorian’ or serve as a supplement for it. 

The movie will focus heavily on Din Djarin and his alleged alien son with Force abilities. Wayne confirms the involvement of Pedro Pascal by saying, “Come on. Of Course,” in the latest interview. 

Additionally, Bo-Katan will continue with her attempts to reestablish the Mandalorian and find the lost Grand Admiral Thrawn. 

Jon Favreau, the director and co-writer, will produce the film with Kathleen Kennedy and co-write it with Lucasfilm Chief Creative Officer Dave Filoni.

The film is going to boost the desire of Star Wars fans, who have been waiting for a Star Wars movie release since 2019.
