The Kanan Jarrus Lightsaber is a meticulously crafted replica of the weapon wielded by the Jedi Knight in Star Wars: Rebels. This saber features a distinctive hilt design, blending elements of both classic Jedi tradition and a more practical, utilitarian aesthetic. The metallic greenish-grey body is accented with black components, and the emitter is fitted with a flared shield for added protection. The hilt also features a detachable two-piece design, originally used by Kanan to conceal his Jedi identity during the rise of the Empire.
Equipped with RGB-X electronics, this lightsaber offers an immersive duelling experience with a range of features. The baselit blade provides vibrant illumination with multiple colour options, though it is best suited for dark environments as its light comes solely from the emitter. Designed for heavy duelling, the hilt’s durable construction ensures it can withstand intense combat. The saber includes 16 pre-installed sound fonts, smooth swing motion detection, flash-on-clash effects, and gesture-based controls. While already equipped with such great features, it also supports Bluetooth connectivity, allowing users to access settings more easily and upload extra sound fonts via the “XenoConfigurator” app on iOS and Android.
History
Kanan Jarrus, formerly known as Caleb Dume, was a Jedi Padawan who survived Order 66 and later became a key figure in the early Rebellion. To avoid detection by the Empire, he modified his lightsaber to be assembled in two separate pieces, allowing him to carry it discreetly. When he finally embraced his Jedi identity once more, he wielded this weapon in numerous battles alongside the crew of the Ghost, training Ezra Bridger and standing against the Inquisitors and Darth Vader.
This lightsaber symbolises Kanan’s resilience and determination, as he upheld the Jedi way in a time of darkness. The Kanan Jarrus Lightsaber allows fans to wield a piece of this hero’s legacy, bringing to life the weapon of a true warrior of the Rebellion.
