The Obi-Wan Kenobi EP4 Lightsaber is a meticulously crafted replica of the weapon wielded by the legendary Jedi Master in Star Wars: A New Hope. The hilt features a distinctive design with a polished silver emitter, a ribbed black grip section, and a signature bubble strip activation switch, capturing the authentic look seen in the original trilogy. Equipped with RGB-X electronics, this lightsaber offers an immersive duelling experience with a range of features. The baselit blade provides vibrant illumination with multiple colour options, though it is best suited for dark environments as its light comes solely from the emitter. Designed for heavy duelling, the durable construction ensures it can withstand intense combat. The saber includes 16 pre-installed sound fonts, smooth swing motion detection, flash-on-clash effects, and gesture-based controls. While already equipped with such great features, it also supports Bluetooth connectivity, allowing users to access settings more easily and upload extra sound fonts via the “XenoConfigurator” app on iOS and Android.
History
Obi-Wan Kenobi constructed this lightsaber after being elevated to the rank of Jedi Knight following the events of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. It became his primary weapon during the years leading up to and throughout the Clone Wars. By the time of Star Wars: A New Hope, Obi-Wan was living in exile on Tatooine, where he once again wielded this lightsaber in his final duel against Darth Vader aboard the Death Star.
The EP4 design reflects a mature and refined Jedi who had lived through both triumph and tragedy. This lightsaber symbolised Obi-Wan’s enduring commitment to protecting the light side of the Force, even in the galaxy’s darkest times.
