The Darth Maul Double-Bladed Lightsaber – SNV4 PRO is a meticulously crafted replica of the iconic weapon wielded by the formidable Sith Lord in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace. The hilt is constructed from high-quality alloy metal, featuring a sleek cylindrical design with intricate detailing that mirrors the original. This saberstaff is equipped with dual emitters, allowing for the ignition of two blades simultaneously or independently, providing versatility in combat scenarios.
The advanced SNV4 PRO core powers vibrant Neopixel blades capable of displaying a wide spectrum of customisable colours. Users can immerse themselves in 27 pre-installed sound fonts, delivering an authentic auditory experience. Additional features include smooth swing motion detection for realistic sound modulation, flash-on-clash effects for dynamic combat simulation, gesture controls for intuitive operation, and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery for extended use. The saber also supports Bluetooth connectivity, allowing for personalisation via the “ForcePark V2” app available on iOS and Android platforms.
History
Darth Maul, apprentice to Darth Sidious, was renowned for his exceptional combat skills and his distinctive double-bladed lightsaber, also known as a saberstaff. This weapon was based on ancient Sith designs found within a holocron owned by his master. The saberstaff’s unique configuration allowed Maul to engage multiple opponents simultaneously, showcasing his agility and precision.
During the Invasion of Naboo, Maul utilised this weapon in a fierce duel against Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and Padawan Obi-Wan Kenobi. Although he succeeded in killing Jinn, Maul was ultimately defeated when Kenobi severed the lightsaber in half and delivered a decisive blow. Despite its destruction, the double-bladed lightsaber remains a symbol of Maul’s lethal prowess and the Sith’s innovative approach to lightsaber combat.
