S-RGB and RGB-X are baselit, meaning one light at the base lights the blade, while SNV4 PRO, Proffie 2.2 and Xenopixel V3 are Neopixel, with the blade lit along its length and per-pixel effects running through it. How a saber will actually be used settles a lot of the remaining decision. The baselit S-RGB and RGB-X builds are made for contact and duelling, while the Neopixel cores — SNV4 PRO, Proffie 2.2 and Xenopixel V3 — suit display and lighter duelling.
