The Count Who Walked Away

Affiliation Sith Order
Homeworld Serenno
Lightsaber style Makashi

Born into the noble house of Serenno, Dooku was identified as Force-sensitive in infancy and taken into the Jedi Order — where he rose to become one of the most gifted Jedi of his generation. A natural master of Makashi, a brilliant political mind, and Yoda's own Padawan, he carried himself with an authority that set him apart long before the galaxy knew his name.

The fracture came quietly. Disillusioned by the Order's entanglement with a Senate he saw as corrupt beyond saving, Dooku walked away — something almost no Jedi of his standing had ever done. He returned to Serenno, reclaimed his title and inheritance, and found Sidious waiting. What followed was not a sudden fall but a calculated choice: he believed he was fighting for a better galaxy, even as the dark side remade him.

Tales of the Jedi traces him back further — a Jedi still carrying his convictions, before the fall. The prequel films chart the Sith Lord he became. Five designs across this page follow that full arc: the straight-hilted Sith SE drawn from Episodes II and III, a separate curved-hilt Sith design from the same era, and three Jedi-era hilts rooted in Tales of the Jedi.

He never stopped being a Jedi — even when the galaxy needed him to be something far darker.

Buyer’s guide

Which Count Dooku lightsaber should I buy?

Curved or straight, Jedi or Sith, display-focused or heavy-duelling — these three notes match each design's hilt style and Saber Core tier to the collector it suits best.

Which hilt is which

Two curved hilts represent Dooku's Jedi years, both drawn from Tales of the Jedi. One straight Jedi design also comes from that series. The straight-hilted Sith SE reflects the weapon he carried through Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith, and The Clone Wars, while the curved Sith design covers that same Separatist-era arc.

Which Saber Core

S-RGB is the Baselit tier — a robust, heavy-duelling core that keeps things simple and keeps the price down. Xenopixel V3 and SNV4 PRO are both Neopixel cores, lighting the full blade with smooth swing for display and light duelling. Proffie 2.2 is also a Neopixel blade, added for collectors who want to rewrite every sound font and blade profile from scratch.

Which suits you

Baselit suits anyone who wants to duel hard without fuss — heavy-duelling rated and built for it. Neopixel (Xenopixel V3 or SNV4 PRO) is the tier for display shelves and cosplay, where the full-blade lighting does the work. Proffie 2.2 is for the collector who wants to rewrite blade profiles and rebuild each ignition sequence to match Dooku's precise, unhurried style.
