Two Bo-Katan Kryze designs from one era
Born to Lead, Forged in War
Daughter of Mandalore's ruling house, Bo-Katan Kryze grew up with power as her birthright and war as her education. Where her sister Duchess Satine counselled peace, Bo-Katan chose a different path — joining Death Watch, carrying a rifle, and learning what it meant to fight for Mandalore rather than simply govern it.
Years of fighting under Death Watch's banner gave her skill without purpose — until the Clone Wars forced a reckoning. When Darth Maul seized the Darksaber and with it Mandalore itself, Bo-Katan had to choose between the warrior she had been and the leader her world needed. She chose the harder thing: responsibility.
Ahsoka Tano gave her the Darksaber, but the symbol and the burden were hers to carry separately. Regent of Mandalore came later, earned through years of holding a fractured world together. The two designs here span that entire stretch — Clone Wars survivor to New Republic claimant, the same blade, a heavier hand.
The Darksaber was never just a weapon — it was a verdict on who she was always meant to become.
Which Bo-Katan Kryze lightsaber should I buy?
Both designs are the Darksaber — black blade, flat profile, Mandalorian allegiance — so the choice comes down to Saber Core and how deep into customisation you want to go.
Which hilt is which
Both designs here are the Darksaber — the ancient black-bladed weapon that passed through Death Watch, Maul's hands, and eventually Bo-Katan's grip across The Clone Wars and The Mandalorian. One design comes in two electronics versions; the other in one.
Which Saber Core
All three Bo-Katan Kryze products run Neopixel blades — the full-blade illumination that gives the Darksaber's flat profile its proper screen character. Xenopixel V3 is the strong starting point: smooth swing, rich sound, light duelling ready. SNV4 PRO adds Bluetooth app control and a deeper feature set for collectors who want more say over every detail. Proffie 2.2 is fully programmable — every sound font, every motion parameter, yours to configure.
Which suits you
If you want to duel — the Darksaber's light-duelling rating makes any of the three a solid choice for regular combat practice. Display collectors and cosplayers who want screen-faithful illumination and pre-loaded sound will be well served by the Xenopixel V3 or SNV4 PRO builds. Tinkerers who want full control over every parameter should go straight to the Proffie 2.2.
