The full character catalogue
Seven Darth Maul designs across two eras.
Fury, Patience, Survival
Born on Dathomir and taken from his people as an infant, Maul was raised within the Sith order under a single master — shaped not into a scholar of the dark side, but into something closer to a weapon. Where other Force-users accumulated knowledge, Maul accumulated hatred, and he was extraordinarily good at it.
Bisected by Obi-Wan Kenobi on Naboo, Maul should have ended there. He didn't. Sustained by hatred alone, he clawed his way back — and what returned was not the polished assassin Sidious had deployed, but something rawer and more dangerous: a Sith who no longer needed a master's permission to act.
That return shaped everything that followed. Through the Clone Wars he built alliances, seized territory, and proved that survival had made him more formidable, not less. The Rebels-era design in the catalogue — the single design filed under the Reign of the Empire — marks how far that arc ran.
The weapon outlasted the master — and so did the legend.
Which Darth Maul lightsaber should I buy?
All seven designs are double-bladed — the hilt style settles that — so the real choices here are finish, Saber Core tier, and how you plan to use it.
Which hilt is which
The silver-finish hilts — including the Phantom Menace-era designs and the Clone Wars Ventress co-branded versions — reflect the weapon as it appears across Maul's prime years. The weathered finish ties to the same period, carrying the battle-worn look seen in Battlefront II and Jedi Knight II. The Rebels design is the outlier: a single hilt representing Maul's later years.
Which Saber Core
S-RGB and RGB-X Baselit cores are the heavy-duelling choice across these hilts — lower price point, solid blade, built to take a hit. Xenopixel V3 and SNV4 PRO light the full blade with smooth-swing response, suited to display and light sparring. Proffie 2.2 sits at the top: fully programmable, Neopixel blade, for the collector who wants complete control over every sound font and effect.
Which suits you
Baselit suits the duellist who wants Maul's double-blade in their hands without fuss — heavy-duelling rated, built to absorb contact. Neopixel (Xenopixel V3 or SNV4 PRO) is the cosplay and display pick, full-blade illumination with smooth-swing response. Proffie 2.2 is for the collector who wants to programme every font and effect themselves.
