Seven Rey "Skywalker" Palpatine designs from one era
A Name She Chose for Herself
Before the Resistance, before the Force, there was Jakku — and a girl who had learned to ask nothing of the galaxy. Rey survived alone on that desert world through scavenging salvage from fallen Star Destroyers, trading parts for rations, and trusting no one. She was resourceful, fearless in the way only necessity makes you, and completely unaware that the blood running through her was Palpatine's.
The shift came when Force powers she had never asked for made themselves impossible to ignore. She sought out Luke Skywalker — a reluctant master who had resolved to let the Jedi die — and when he gave his life at Crait, the mantle fell to her. Leia Organa became her teacher, the dyad she shared with Ben Solo pulled her in two directions at once, and the scavenger who had once traded parts for rations found herself carrying the weight of an entire Order.
At the Battle of Exegol she defeated the resurrected Sidious, died, and was brought back by Ben Solo — who gave everything in that moment. What followed was a Jedi Master rebuilding an Order from nothing, armed with a yellow-bladed lightsaber she built herself. All seven designs in Rise of the First Order (Episodes VII–IX) trace that arc.
She rejected the name she was born to — and built a legacy worthy of the one she chose.
Which Rey "Skywalker" Palpatine lightsaber should I buy?
Jedi-aligned hilts across the Graflex lineage and her own custom design sit alongside the Dark Rey double-bladed outlier — matched to baselit or neopixel Saber Cores depending on whether you duel, display, or build.
Which hilt is which
The Luke EP7 Graflex is the silver hilt Rey receives in The Force Awakens and carries through The Last Jedi — ancestrally Luke's, passed down through Maz Kanata. The Rey EP9 Graflex is her own version of that same Graflex design, seen in The Rise of Skywalker. The Rey SE is a black-hilted straight design, also from The Rise of Skywalker. Dark Rey's double-bladed hilt appears in the dark side vision sequence in that same film.
Which Saber Core
S-RGB and RGB-X baselit cores are the heavy-duelling choice — built for impact, lower in price, and the right call if the saber is going to see real contact. Xenopixel V3, SNV4 PRO and Proffie 2.2 are all neopixel cores: the full blade lights up, smooth swing is active, and Proffie adds open-ended programmability for collectors who want complete control. Light duelling and display only on those three.
Which suits you
Baselit suits duellists who want Rey's Graflex in hand for sparring or cosplay without the neopixel price. Xenopixel V3 or SNV4 PRO neopixel hilts are the display and cosplay collector's call — full blade illumination, smooth swing, and up to 34 pre-installed soundfonts. Proffie 2.2 is for the builder who wants to script every font and effect themselves.
