Character Bio · Jedi Order

The Unlikely Rebel Who Refused to Stay Hidden

Affiliation Jedi Order

Cal Kestis was a Padawan still learning his craft when Order 66 tore the Jedi Order apart. Where others fell, Cal survived — not through mastery, but through instinct, luck, and a willingness to bury the Force deep enough that the Empire couldn't sense him. For years he kept his head down, his saber hidden, and his grief quietly stored away.

Exposure changed everything. When his connection to the Force was discovered, Cal could no longer afford to stay invisible — so he stopped trying. He picked up the pieces of his shattered training, faced the grief he'd been carrying since the Purge, and chose to stand for something again. That choice made him a target. It also made him a Jedi.

Cere Junda — a survivor herself, the Jedi who found him and helped him piece his training back together — guided Cal through what followed: a search that stretched across the galaxy and tested every part of his recovered connection to the Force. By Jedi: Survivor, he was no longer a Padawan learning to remember. He was a Jedi choosing his next fight.

Not a chosen hero — just a survivor who kept choosing to fight.

Buyer’s guide

Which Cal Kestis lightsaber should I buy?

Straight hilts suit collectors tracing Cal's arc across both games; the crossguard is the Survivor-era choice; SNV4 PRO or Proffie 2.2 for full neopixel, S-RGB if you duel hard.

Which hilt is which

The EP3 design is Cal's early hilt from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor; the Weathered EP3 is a distinct, battle-worn version of that same era. The EP4 design marks a later point in his arc. The crossguard hilt is exclusive to Survivor, and the two double-bladed designs combine Cal's hilt with Cere Junda's.

Which Saber Core

All twelve designs are available with Neopixel cores — Xenopixel V3, SNV4 PRO, or Proffie 2.2 — lighting the full blade length with smooth swing and blade-motion effects suited to display and light duelling. Most designs also come in Baselit cores (S-RGB or RGB-X), which are the heavy-duelling choice and the lower-cost entry point. Proffie 2.2 is the fully programmable option, for those who want to write their own fonts and behaviours.

Which suits you

Baselit cores (S-RGB or RGB-X) suit duelists who want to swing Cal's hilt hard without worrying about the blade. Neopixel designs — SNV4 PRO or Xenopixel V3 — are the display and cosplay choice, with full-length blade illumination that reads across a room. Proffie 2.2 is for the collector who wants to load their own soundfonts and tune every behaviour.
