The Kylo Ren SE Lightsaber is a meticulously crafted replica that captures the raw power and distinctive design of the Supreme Leader’s weapon. The hilt features a unique crossguard design, with two smaller blades, or quillons, emerging from the sides, providing both hand protection and a menacing appearance. Constructed from high-quality materials, it ensures durability and a comfortable grip for both display and duelling purposes.
Equipped with the advanced SNV4 PRO core, this lightsaber boasts a vibrant Neopixel blade capable of displaying a wide spectrum of customisable colours. Users can immerse themselves in 27 pre-installed sound fonts, delivering an authentic auditory experience. Additional features include smooth swing motion detection for realistic sound modulation, flash-on-clash effects for dynamic combat simulation, multiple ignition and blade effects, gesture controls for intuitive operation, and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery for extended use. The saber also supports Bluetooth connectivity, allowing for personalisation via the “ForcePark V2” app available on iOS and Android platforms.
History
Kylo Ren, born Ben Solo, constructed his distinctive crossguard lightsaber after turning to the dark side. The weapon’s unstable, crackling blade is a result of a cracked kyber crystal, symbolising Kylo’s inner turmoil and raw power. The crossguard design, featuring two quillons, harks back to ancient lightsaber designs from millennia past.
The unique design of Kylo Ren’s lightsaber reflects his departure from traditional Jedi weapons, embodying his complex identity and the conflict within him. The weapon’s instability and raw energy serve as a physical manifestation of Kylo’s struggle between the light and dark sides of the Force.
