Hello there,
We wanted to share an update regarding recent improvements to our website and some ongoing work behind the scenes to bring all open backorders up to date.
New Website Order Statuses
In September’s Backorders Update post, we announced changes to the website to add transparency and information pertaining to backorders.
This work has now been completed, and we’ve introduced three new order statuses to provide clearer visibility on where your saber is in the process:
- In Production – Your order has entered our latest manufacturing run.
- In Transit – Your item has left the factory and is on its way to our warehouse.
- Booking In – Stock has arrived at the warehouse and is being checked in before dispatch.
Once your order moves to Complete, tracking information will be added, and your shipping confirmation email will be sent automatically.
Current Backorder Timeframes
At present, most backorders are being fulfilled within 3–5 weeks, depending on the item and production schedule. We’re working closely with our partners to keep this time consistent and, where possible, shorten it further.
Older Backorders
A small group of orders dating back to the summer has taken longer than expected to process. We’ve identified where delays have occurred and have already updated our internal systems to prevent this from happening again. These remaining orders are now being prioritised and are moving through the final stages of fulfilment.
Warehouse Transition
Over the past few months, we moved to a new warehouse partner better suited to our growing needs. While transitions of this scale can occasionally introduce complications, the majority of stock has now been fully integrated, and operations are running smoothly. A few items required additional checks or re-labelling, which caused some brief hold-ups, but these are now being resolved.
Stock Availability
We currently have multiple restock shipments arriving and being booked in. Many of the backordered items are now available in duplicate, ensuring faster fulfilment and preventing future bottlenecks.
What Happens Next
Our aim is to have all outstanding pre-November backorders completed before Christmas. If anything prevents this, we’ll contact affected customers directly with next steps and solutions.
Cancellations
If you’re considering cancelling your order, please reach out to us directly so we can process this quickly for you. This ensures the fastest refund, without the delays that come with bank-led procedures.
