The full character catalogue
Two Ben Solo designs from one era.
Torn Between Darkness and the Light
Born on Chandrila to Han Solo and Leia Organa, Ben carried the weight of two legendary bloodlines before he could choose what to do with either. Force-sensitive from birth and trained at Luke Skywalker's Jedi temple, he showed a raw strength in the Force that set him apart — and made him a target.
Seduced by Snoke and pulled toward the dark side, Ben abandoned the Jedi path and became Kylo Ren — First Order enforcer, patricide, architect of his own ruin. Yet the pull to the light never fully left him. It surfaced in flashes: a moment's hesitation, a bond with Rey that defied everything he had chosen to become.
His return came in the Rise of the First Order era — and it cost him everything he had left. The two designs on this page are drawn from that period: the Ben Solo Lightsaber in silver, and the Ben Solo SE Lightsaber in grey.
Redeemed at the last — Ben Solo's legacy is the Force itself, passed forward.
Which Ben Solo lightsaber should I buy?
Silver hilt or grey, Baselit or Neopixel — the notes below match each design and Saber Core to the right kind of fan.
Which hilt is which
The silver Ben Solo Lightsaber is the design that appears in Episode VIII: The Last Jedi. The grey Ben Solo SE is a variant hilt — same straight profile, different colourway — and comes with a pouch bag alongside the hard case and stand.
Which Saber Core
Both designs come in Baselit and Neopixel versions. The Baselit cores — S-RGB and RGB-X — are built for heavy duelling and carry the lower price. The Neopixel cores — Xenopixel V3 and SNV4 PRO — light the full blade, add smooth swing, and suit display or light sparring. The Ben Solo SE also comes in Proffie 2.2: a Neopixel blade with fully open programming for those who want complete control over every sound font and effect.
Which suits you
Duellers go Baselit — the RGB-X and S-RGB cores are built for heavy contact and won't flinch. Display buyers and cosplayers get the full blade effect with Xenopixel V3 or SNV4 PRO. Those who want to write their own soundfonts and programme every effect from scratch will find the Proffie 2.2 version of the SE is the one built for them.
