Steady Hand, Fierce Heart

Affiliation The Jedi Order
Homeworld Dorin

Born on Dorin and trained under Jedi Master Tyvokka, Plo Koon rose to the Jedi High Council carrying something rarer than rank — a genuine warmth for those he served alongside. A Kel Dor whose breath mask and goggles marked him instantly among his peers, he was as recognisable by his care for his troops as by his silhouette.

His turning point came not in a council chamber but on the front line. Surviving the First Battle of Geonosis, he carried the fight into the Clone Wars as a Jedi General — hunting down the Separatist warship Malevolence alongside Ahsoka Tano, a young Togruta he had discovered years earlier and whose ability he had championed from the start.

Those Clone Wars campaigns — Felucia, Lola Sayu, Kadavo — defined him as much as any council seat. He fought where his troops fought, and when Ahsoka was expelled from the Order after a false accusation, it was Koon who stood with the council to offer her reinstatement once the truth emerged. The design on this page draws from those years: Attack of the Clones through Revenge of the Sith and The Clone Wars.

Order 66 silenced him at Cato Neimoidia — but the bond he forged with Ahsoka Tano endured long after.

Buyer’s guide

Which Plo Koon lightsaber should I buy?

One silver-hilted design, two Saber Cores — RGB-X for duellists who want a battle-ready hilt without the complexity, Xenopixel V3 for collectors who want full neopixel expression and 34 sound fonts.

Which hilt is which

The single hilt on this page — straight, silver, and carried across Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith, and The Clone Wars — is the one Plo Koon wielded throughout the Clone Wars campaigns.

Which Saber Core

RGB-X is the Baselit choice — a full-contact, heavy-duelling core with a bright single-colour blade and no electronics to baby. Xenopixel V3 is the Neopixel tier: the whole blade lights up, smooth swing and 34 pre-installed sound fonts are built in, and it's rated for light duelling and display. If you know you want Plo Koon's hilt on a wall stand or in your hands for occasional sparring, Xenopixel V3 is the one; if it's going to take real punishment, RGB-X is built for it.

Which suits you

RGB-X suits anyone who plans to duel hard and duel often — heavy-duelling rated, no fragile internals to worry about. Xenopixel V3 is the choice for display or cosplay, where the full neopixel blade and 34 sound fonts earn their keep. If programming custom fonts and colours sounds like half the fun, Xenopixel V3 supports it.
