The Last Teacher of a Dying Order
Born around 896 BBY, Yoda belonged to a rare and ancient species whose homeworld and name were never revealed — even to those closest to him. He began training other Jedi when still a century young, and over the generations that followed became the Order's most revered teacher: small in stature, immeasurable in wisdom and Force ability, and ultimately its Grand Master.
Order 66 changed everything. When Palpatine revealed himself as Darth Sidious and the clone troopers turned, Yoda survived — and fought back, duelling the self-declared Emperor on Coruscant itself. He could not win. Forced to retreat, the Grand Master of the Jedi Order slipped into exile on Dagobah, carrying the full weight of what the Order had lost.
On Dagobah, exile became purpose. Yoda trained one final student — Luke Skywalker — during the Galactic Civil War, passing on what the Order had been before the Fall of the Jedi era of Episode II: Attack of the Clones, Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, and The Clone Wars took it apart. Both designs on this page come from that period.
He died on Dagobah as he had lived — certain in the Force, and at peace with what he had given.
Which Yoda lightsaber should I buy?
A straight hilt, two designs, and a choice between baselit duelling builds and neopixel tiers — the notes below match each to the right buyer.
Which hilt is which
Both designs share the same straight, silver-and-black hilt — Yoda's lightsaber as it appears across Episode II: Attack of the Clones, Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, and The Clone Wars. The three-version design includes a pouch bag alongside the blade plug, hard case, and stand; the two-version design ships without the pouch bag.
Which Saber Core
S-RGB and RGB-X are the baselit cores — heavy-duelling rated, the most robust choice for regular combat practice. Xenopixel V3, SNV4 PRO, and Proffie 2.2 all run a neopixel blade, lighting the full length of the blade rather than just its tip, suited to light duelling and display.
Which suits you
Baselit suits duellist Yoda fans — heavy-duelling rated and built to clash. Neopixel is the tier for display and cosplay, with full blade lighting that does the character justice. Proffie 2.2 is the collector's choice: open-source, fully programmable, every sound font and effect yours to shape.
