The trade
What it is
A light source in the emitter, firing up a hollow tube. Everything that makes the saber behave — the colour, the sound, the board — stays inside the hilt.
What it buys you
The simplest thing that can be a lit saber. Colours and a bank of sounds, set from the hilt or over Bluetooth, with nothing to set up before it works.
What it costs you
The sound bank is what ships, and the smallest on the ladder. The blade lights from the base, so there is no ignition along it and no flare where it is struck.
