History

Kanan Jarrus, born Caleb Dume, was a Jedi Padawan who survived Order 66 and later became a key figure in the early rebellion against the Galactic Empire. To avoid detection, he adopted the name Kanan Jarrus and concealed his Jedi heritage, often disassembling his lightsaber and carrying its components separately to avoid drawing attention.

Throughout the Star Wars Rebels series, Kanan's lightsaber became a symbol of hope and resilience, representing his journey from a fugitive to a mentor and leader within the Rebel Alliance. His weapon was not only a tool of combat but also a testament to his enduring commitment to the Jedi principles and the fight against tyranny.
