The Story

The Darth Jadus Lightsaber is a fearsome replica of the weapon wielded by the enigmatic Sith Lord in Star Wars: The Old Republic. This imposing design features a menacing hilt crafted from high-quality aluminium alloy, with a polished silver and black finish that embodies the Sith’s dark and calculating nature. The most striking feature is the intricate emitter, adorned with sharp, claw-like protrusions that exude raw power and intimidation. The hilt’s streamlined, cylindrical grip ensures comfort and control, making it an excellent choice for both collectors and duelists.

Equipped with Xenopixel V3 electronics, this lightsaber features a Neopixel blade that displays a full spectrum of customisable colours, allowing users to replicate Darth Jadus’s signature red hue. With 34 pre-installed sound fonts, smooth swing motion detection, flash-on-clash effects, multiple ignition and blade effects, gesture controls, and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery, this saber offers an immersive experience. The Bluetooth connectivity enables customisation via the “XenoConfigurator” app on iOS and Android, allowing full control over blade effects and sound settings.

History

Darth Jadus was one of the most secretive and powerful Sith Lords in the Sith Empire during Star Wars: The Old Republic. As a member of the Dark Council, he wielded his influence through fear, manipulation, and an unmatched mastery of the dark side. His lightsaber, like his persona, was designed to inspire dread and demonstrate his ruthless authority.

Unlike many Sith who sought personal glory in battle, Jadus operated from the shadows, orchestrating galactic-scale schemes to reshape the Empire to his vision. His lightsaber serves as a symbol of his calculated approach to power, a weapon wielded not just with brute strength, but with a terrifyingly strategic mind.

Start with what you are going to do with it. If it is going to be fought with, look at baselit — the blade is a plain tube lit from the base, so there is less inside it to break, and nearly every baselit hilt here is rated for heavy duelling. If you want the blade to behave the way it does on screen, look at neopixel: a lit strip runs its whole length, so it ignites from the hilt up and flares where it is struck. That strip is also why neopixel hilts are rated for lighter contact. Proffie is neopixel with the software opened up, for anyone who would rather write their own effects than choose from a menu.
