The Story

The Depa Billaba Lightsaber is a finely crafted replica of the weapon wielded by the esteemed Jedi Master in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace and Star Wars: The Bad Batch. Designed with elegance and precision, this hilt features a sleek, dark grey finish with subtle gold accents along the emitter and activation switch. Its minimalist, ergonomic design allows for a comfortable grip, making it a refined and balanced weapon for both collectors and duelists. The ridged emitter and compact structure add to its functionality, embodying the discipline and wisdom of its wielder.

Equipped with Xenopixel V3 electronics, this lightsaber features a Neopixel blade, designed for showcase and light duelling, but never for heavy duelling. It offers a full spectrum of customisable colours and comes preloaded with 34 immersive sound fonts, ensuring an authentic and dynamic experience. Additional features include smooth swing motion detection, flash-on-clash effects, multiple ignition and blade styles, gesture controls, and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery for extended use. The Bluetooth connectivity allows for easy customisation via the “XenoConfigurator” app, available on iOS and Android.

History

Depa Billaba was a respected Jedi Master and member of the Jedi High Council during the final years of the Republic. Trained by Master Mace Windu, she was known for her deep wisdom and strong connection to the Force. As a mentor to Caleb Dume, the future Kanan Jarrus, she played a crucial role in shaping the next generation of Jedi before her tragic fate during Order 66.

Her lightsaber was a reflection of her refined combat style, emphasising precision and discipline over brute force. As a skilled practitioner of lightsaber combat, she wielded her weapon with grace and efficiency, embodying the ideals of the Jedi Order. Read the lightsaber guides
Start with what you are going to do with it. If it is going to be fought with, look at baselit — the blade is a plain tube lit from the base, so there is less inside it to break, and nearly every baselit hilt here is rated for heavy duelling. If you want the blade to behave the way it does on screen, look at neopixel: a lit strip runs its whole length, so it ignites from the hilt up and flares where it is struck. That strip is also why neopixel hilts are rated for lighter contact. Proffie is neopixel with the software opened up, for anyone who would rather write their own effects than choose from a menu.
