The Ronin Lightsaber is a faithful replica inspired by the weapon wielded by the mysterious and wandering warrior from the animated short film Star Wars: Visions – The Duel. This saber features a uniquely crafted hilt wrapped in traditional black leather, reminiscent of a samurai’s katana, offering both comfort and an authentic grip. The handle’s elongated profile is designed for precise and agile combat, while the metallic accents and rectangular control box add a touch of rugged elegance. The emitter is subtly flared, allowing the brilliant blue blade to glow with a refined intensity.
Equipped with Xenopixel V3 electronics, this lightsaber includes a Neopixel blade, making it perfect for showcase and light duelling but not for heavy duelling. The 144-LED strip within the blade delivers brilliant illumination, realistic ignition effects, and customisable blade styles. Additional features include smooth swing motion detection, 34 pre-installed sound fonts, multiple ignition modes, gesture controls, and a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. Bluetooth connectivity allows for further customisation via the XenoConfigurator app on iOS and Android.
History
The Ronin Lightsaber belongs to a mysterious lone warrior who roams the galaxy in search of justice, honouring the ancient ways of the Force. In Star Wars: Visions – The Duel, the Ronin is revealed to be a wandering former Sith, using his skills to protect innocents and atone for his past. His lightsaber, much like a katana, symbolises his path as a rogue warrior, blending the traditions of a bygone era with the practicality of a battle-hardened survivor.
This replica captures the unique fusion of samurai aesthetics and Star Wars lore, making it a standout piece for collectors and fans of Star Wars: Visions. Whether displayed as a tribute to the Ronin’s journey or wielded in light duels, the Ronin Lightsaber represents the spirit of redemption and the legacy of a warrior who walks his own path.
