History
Count Dooku, originally a respected Jedi Master, wielded this curved-hilt lightsaber before leaving the Jedi Order to become Darth Tyranus, apprentice to Darth Sidious. This elegant and unique weapon was designed for Makashi, a duelling-focused lightsaber combat form, allowing for precise, calculated strikes and defensive counters. Unlike standard Jedi sabers, its curved hilt provided superior wrist control, giving Dooku an advantage against more aggressive fighting styles.
Though he later constructed a Sith-red variant, this original Jedi lightsaber represents Dooku’s legacy as a powerful and highly skilled Jedi warrior.
