Darth Malgus.
Born Veradun, he became the man who sacked Coruscant, declared his own Empire, and finally broke free of every master — a Sith who refused, in the end, to be owned by anyone.

One Darth Malgus design from one era
A Sith Who Refused to Be Owned
Born Veradun, he was marked early. Raised by an adoptive father, he killed a Twi'lek servant on the family estate as a boy — not out of rage, but because the dark side moved through him and he let it. That instinct took him to the Sith Academy on Dromund Kaas, through the ranks of the Imperial Military, and into the thick of the Great Galactic War as a commander whose ferocity set him apart from the beginning.
The turning point was Eleena Daru. She had been his companion through campaigns and years, and his attachment to her had been used against him — proof, in Sith logic, that love was armour with a crack in it. Rather than accept that vulnerability, Malgus removed it. He killed her himself. What followed was not resolve but a slow estrangement from everything the Empire stood for, empire included.
What came after was a long unravelling. Malgus served on the Dark Council, declared a New Empire of his own, and was brought down by forces from both sides of the war. He resurfaced, went rogue, and declared he would never again answer to a master. The designs on this page draw from that full arc — the Old Republic era that made him.
Every chain he broke revealed another — until none remained.
Which Darth Malgus lightsaber should I buy?
One hilt, three ways in — choose by how you'll fight, then pick the Saber Core that matches how deep you want to go.
Which hilt is which
The single design on this page — the Darth Malgus Damaged Lightsaber — comes from Star Wars: The Old Republic, the era of his rise, his betrayal, and his eventual break from the Empire he helped build.
Which Saber Core
S-RGB is the Baselit core — a heavy-duelling choice, lower price, solid blade. SNV4 PRO is the Neopixel tier: the full blade lights up, smooth swing is built in, and it's the display and light-duelling pick. Proffie 2.2 gives you that same Neopixel blade with full programmability — every font, every setting, yours to shape.
Which suits you
Duellists who want to go hard reach for the S-RGB Baselit — heavy-duelling rated and built for it. Display builders and cosplayers suit the SNV4 PRO Neopixel, where the full-blade effect makes every detail count. Collectors who want to write their own soundfonts live in the Proffie 2.2.
