Three Satele Shan designs from one era
Blood of Legends, Burden of a Generation
Born on Brentaal IV to Tasiele Shan — herself a Jedi Knight and a direct descendant of Revan and Bastila Shan — Satele carried the weight of a legendary bloodline from her earliest years as a Padawan. Trained first under Ngani Zho, then under Battlemaster Kao Cen Darach on Korriban, she came of age just as the Sith Empire returned to war.
War hero was not a title she sought. After facing Darth Malgus in battle and surviving, she found herself drawn to Jace Malcom — a Republic soldier, and precisely the kind of attachment the Jedi Code forbade. The affair was brief and secret; the consequence was not. She carried and gave up her son Theron quietly, returning to duty before anyone outside her confidence knew.
Grand Master came next — appointed after she brought the Order home to Tython, and charged with holding the Jedi together through the wars that followed. She later stood against the returned Revan on Yavin 4, then watched the Eternal Empire swallow both Republic and Sith. When nothing remained to lead, she stepped down and chose exile. The three designs in this catalogue span those years.
She left the Order quieter than she found it — and stronger for the peace she chose.
Which Satele Shan lightsaber should I buy?
Two double-bladed designs and one straight hilt cover the full range — from baselit duelling builds for those who want to wield her staff in combat, to Proffie-powered neopixel versions for collectors who want every soundfont and colour effect her years as Grand Master deserve.
Which hilt is which
The straight hilt and both double-bladed designs all appear in Star Wars: The Old Republic. The single-bladed Satele Shan Lightsaber is the saber she carries as a Jedi Knight and later Grand Master; the double-bladed designs reflect the staff form she wielded in combat during the war with the Sith Empire.
Which Saber Core
S-RGB and RGB-X are the baselit cores — full-contact heavy duelling, straightforward controls, and the lowest entry point across all three designs. Xenopixel V3 and SNV4 PRO illuminate the entire blade, add smooth swing, and suit display or light sparring. Proffie 2.2 gives you a fully programmable neopixel blade — every soundfont, every colour profile, remappable to however you want to run it.
Which suits you
Baselit suits duellists who want to run the double-bladed staff hard in full-contact sparring. Neopixel — Xenopixel V3 or SNV4 PRO — is the pick for cosplay and display, with a full illuminated blade and smooth swing to match how she moved in battle. Proffie 2.2 is for the collector who wants to get into the code.
