Five designs from The Mandalorian across two eras.
The Man Without a Name
Orphaned young and raised under the Creed, Din Djarin grew up knowing one truth: the Way is everything. A foundling taken in by a Mandalorian covert, he became a bounty hunter by trade — methodical, self-reliant, and careful never to show his face to another living soul.
Everything shifted the moment a Child crossed his path. Protecting Grogu was never part of the Creed — yet Din Djarin walked away from his contract, his guild standing, and the only life he knew to keep the foundling safe. That choice turned a solitary bounty hunter into something the galaxy hadn't seen in a long time: a Mandalorian fighting for someone else's future.
That arc runs through every design in the collection. The Darksaber — carried by Darth Maul, claimed by Bo-Katan Kryze, and eventually thrust into Din Djarin's hands — spans eras the man himself never lived through, its blade older than the New Republic that shaped him. Alongside it sit his own forged designs, rooted firmly in that New Republic era and the solitary path he walked through it.
The Creed gave him a code — the galaxy gave him something harder to carry.
Which of The Mandalorian's lightsabers should I buy?
Flat-bladed Darksaber or round-blade Mando hilt, Neopixel core or heavy-duelling baselit — the notes below settle which design, which Saber Core, and which kind of fan each one is built for.
Which hilt is which
The Mandalorian Darksaber carries a flat blade and appears across Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels, The Book of Boba Fett, The Mandalorian, and LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. The Darksaber SE pairs that same hilt profile with a standard round blade, appearing in The Mandalorian alone.
Which Saber Core
S-RGB and the baselit cores are the heavy-duelling tier — built for the hilt to take real punishment at the lowest price point. Xenopixel V3, SNV4 PRO, and Proffie 2.2 are all Neopixel cores: they light the full blade, carry smooth swing, and are rated for light duelling and display.
Which suits you
Baselit S-RGB suits heavy-duelling builds where the hilt takes the hits and Grogu stays safe on the sidelines. SNV4 PRO or Xenopixel V3 fits the cosplay or display collector who wants Neopixel brightness and Bluetooth colour control. Proffie 2.2 — available across the Mando Silver, Mando V2, Mandalorian Darksaber, and Darksaber SE — is the programmer's tier.
